Basics with green accents

While sorting out my clothes I got overwhelmed by what I own to the point that I couldn't make any outfit at all. I spend a while to figure out how I might solve the problem at hand and then it strike me.
I quickly made a seperate section in my wardrobe with about 15 pieces of basic clothes tops or bottoms in white, black, grey and light blue.
Suddenly, it all made sense and I was able to put together this outfit. Basic denim shirt and all the rest in an accent color ,this time I played around green.

I was able to use long forgotten accessories and of course my becoming signature style tourban , made out of a simple scarf in olive green. For some strange reason I think that scarves (and I've got plenty that I adore) show better on me worn on my head rather than around my neck. A few years of blogging can do this to you.
And a bit of information for those who asked. The tree bellow is in my garden and it's a pommegrenade tree fully in bloom this time of the year. Every morning I enjoy their juice which is perfect for purifying the blood and send toxins running.

Mix it up and carry on

Happy Autumn to everyone! I'm back from holidays and ready for school to start. It's this time of the year that wardrobe organisation and some purging are required. I'm also in the process of rediscovering what I own and today's outfit is the result of this process.
A bit of basic casuals ( white jeans, basic brown sweater), a bit of 40s inspiration ( scarf worn as a turban) , teenage spirit ( red converse) and lady-like essence (red bag).
I think I have my style sorted or totally mixed up.
What do you think?
Check out Visible Monday where I'm about to hop next.
