So many outfits

Since I started blogging in 2010 I've worn more than 1500 different outfits. So everyday I indulge myself in the creative process of remixing because it's not possible to wear new things all the time. And it's something I don't want to,either.

Mint for spring

Spring finds little ways to insert itsef in my wardrobe although I know it's not its high priority! The color mint is the first spring color that comes to my mind each year. When I start craving for mint I know spring is here to stay.

The dress I sew a few months back has turned into a great basic and the light lace top is super to add some texture to an outfit. You can also have a look at my new mint bag!

Sudden jacket love

Jackets and skirts are a match made in heaven. They give me the right amount of seriousness and comfort I need for a busy day at school. I have more skirts than I care to count but 3 or 4 jackets. I just spotted a gap in my wardrobe. I'm off to shop for jackets.
 On my way to shops

Parade look

Today, was Greek Independence Day (1821)and there was a big parade in the centre of the city. It was a bright sunny day with just the right amount of breeze and we strolled in the centre.

I wore this little number because it 's very comfortable and I can easily layer which is one of my signature traits. Both pieces are thrifted and the more times I wear the more favorite they become.
I move quickly away so that you can see the monument dating from the 16th century. It's the meeting place of a larger area where people used to go to get water.

Beige skirt

I swapped this skirt back in 2010 but I've worn it very few times. I've rediscovered it about a month ago and I plan to give it a few more wears.

It's light cotton and  nicely pleatted in a beige neutral color. I found the photos of old posts and I can see how my style has evolved.

I've done pretty basic combos in the years before and played it more safely. I've worn this skirt in summer and autumn but lately I tried it in the winter ,too (see the combo with the red sweater).
I still own everything you see in the photos except the flats and the orange t shirt.
I find today's combo more sophisticated and mature and I enoyed wearing it as I felt more myself in it.

Sunset saved my outfit

Today's outfit falls into a certain category that is both necessary and unpleasant. It's the "it looks so good in my head outfit"
But oh! so terrible in reality. It's a necessary step though for the evolution of my style as I learn from trial and error. And the magic glow of the sunset makes it look better.

How to dress + shirt combination

The dress I'm wearing today feels like a challenge to me. It has this quality to make my creativity juices going. Today, I'm wearing it with my favorite shirt and a cotton cardigan in a deep blue color.
I enjoyed wearing it all day long. It made my bare legs look less bare since it's the first day after a long winter.

I so love posing and waling in the wilderness of my garden. I still love this jungle feeling.Of course did I forgot to tell you how useless I am with plants?
By looking at the details shots I hope you get an idea of how I 've worn the colors together and how spring is creeping inside this outfit. And I hope you agree that one of the best ways to make a dress versatile is to put a shirt over it. You just have to try it. If it's working for me , it will for you ,too.
