Green, pink and remix

If you follow this blog for sometime, you know how much I love remixing. Today's outfit is a proof. Except from the black sweater all the rest I have for quite sometime and worn plenty. But sometimes,  it takes some spending to keep on remixing. What I mean is that today I bought 3(yes,3...sales time) skirts exactly the kind that suits me and which I had on my list for sometime now. By spending a little bit I am now able to wear a lot of my shirts/sweaters/cardis that collected dust in my closet. You see like most I have more tops than bottoms and after my recent closet organise I spotted the problem and took action. I only wish I could be that organised in other departments of my life but I have to start from somewhere!!!

70s Sunday morning

No blogger that respects herself goes without owning a hat like the one I'm wearing today. And what better way to style it than a 70s inspired look with a  skirt that was actually made in the 70s by my godmother. Hand sewn and made out of real velvet was in my closet for a year now. I think of shortening so I'm able to wear it more. What do you think?

Equestrian the cowboy way

I feel strongly equestrian today because of my waistcoat and strongly cowgirl because of my boots. Both have to do with animals so I take it that they match!

New favorite dress

After a couple of rainy days it was bright, clear and warm again. The perfect weather for my new floral dress. It's got it all wrong...cheap acrilic material, it's fast fashion (Primark), it's short... but the fit is great, the pattern so lovely and the colors just how I like them. Well, there's no way to tell where you will find your next favorite piece, is it?

Play with texture

Today's outfit was all about texture. I never consciously got to play with different textures before maybe because I couldn't capture the differences with my former simple camera. But today I gave it a try and I hope that you can see that the skirt is leather, the waistcoat is velvet and the sweater a bit puffy. I then added the burgundy fake fur neck warmer and was done. A bit of luxury on a cold, rainy Monday!

While me and sweet daughter were taking the photos my husband on his scouter arrived and we couldn't miss a shot together!

Side part

Can you tell it's the same black dress as yesterday? Well, probably not as I hope the emerald green sweater and my new black boots and the coat on my shoulders grabbed your attention first!
I still have to do something about my hair but until then I try new hair dos. I also played on the green theme with my rings. But I added burgundy earrings just for a bit of fun and because it's a trendy color at the moment.( see, you learned somethinh today on my blog). Not complete waste of time!

My blue thick cardigan

Many wishes for a Happy, Healthy and Creative 2015 to all of you my friends all over the world! I have a couple of New Year Resolutions this time. Not anything fancy , just the usual like exercise in my local gym and eat less. If I manage those two I will be a lot fitter by the end of the year. This year will be the follow up of my quit smoking which happened last year.
I also want to post more regularely now that I fancy my camera.

This black little dress stays with me since the beggining of this blog. I have worn the very same combination back in 2010 but with a more classic twist and not as much of my personality shown through it.

But today I wore my jacket buttoned and  no accessories. I just added my thick cardigan over it to give me extra warmth. I so love it when I get to play with clothes I have for so long but still create new looks.

The proof that style really evolves (since 2010)!!!
