Favorite dress

I have lost a couple of kilos recently and I was able to wear favorite(thrifted) dresses again. And I felt like pilling on my diy accessories.

New grey top

A grey top goes out and a new one comes in. That's new rules ladies. I don't buy on impulse anymore or for recreational reasons any more. At least not in the summer time when I don't work right in the heart of the shopping centre of my city.

Classic dress

I think this kind of dree is a classic and can be worn from day to night by changing the accessories. Today, it is worn with my new Nike running shoes and my diy necklace. Very personal style and very comfortable is my description of this outfit.

My blue dress

When the going gets tough I need something simple to grab. My blue Lacoste dress I bought last winter in Milan. It holds nice memories, it's good quality and I love the classic navy color it has.

Red and olive

There is no outfit a red bag can't lift. It saved my simple outfit and I think red and olive go so good together.

Yellow, my love

When it comes to yellow, I love it in small doses. It's a classy color and 40+ safe !

All about comfort

Yes, I have reached that age when comfort is more important than style. My feet have suddenly have become very sensitive and the doctor suggested special shoes from now on. But like scarves and t shirts there are plenty of options out there, so it will not be a boring transition!

Graphic scarf

I may not have a love for graphic t shirts but I surely love graphic scarves. Now that I come to think of it, scarves are all ages appropriate. You see, I have a teenage daughter which is an eye opener concerning clothes. 

 Suddenly a whole range of clothes are out of touch for my 48 year old body. No complains though, there are plenty of choices and new opportunities. And I can still go crazy on scarves!

Dare to wear...similar

       

 A lot of my outfits are in danger of looking similar but what's wrong with that? I love remixing and find new ways to wear my clothes. Check the top I'm wearing today. I flipped the back with the front and I have a new style.

Star of simple

A hot busy day requires minimum fuss, so I picked my denim bermuda and black tank top. This for me translates into many pockets and bare arms. Then comes the fun part- accessories,yeah!- a belt that my mother embroidered, green shoes, white sunglasses and a star!

Graphic tee

Some weeks ago a friend gave me this t shirt. You may not have noticed  (why would you?) that I don't own any graphic t shirts or ones with logos as I don't feel comfortable wearing them anymore. But the t shirt I wear today has a very interesting detail -the shape of the sleeves- a bit bell shaped. This detail, according to my mind, makes the tshirt suitable for a grown up like me.

Flower power in the 40s plus

      I would call this a happy outfit- denim bermuda shorts and a favorite top hand sewn by my aunt .

The top is soft silk fabric  and has lovely autumnal colors although it's  still a blazing summer here in Greece.

So basic

It's hot very hot today and I'm so much into basic minimal look suitable for my age and my outfit today ticks all the right boxes. I had to add 2 of my favorite jewellery though to infuse a touch of personal style. It means a lot to me.

Cropped olive shirt

It was one of these days that my outfit didn't want to photograph decently. Nevertheless, you get an idea of my latest buy - a cropped shirt in a lovely basic (or not) color. Plus minimal accessories.
