Inspiration of the day

I'm rather reserved in posing lately because so many people go up and down the streets and many neighbours sit in their verandas and watch anything that goes on.

But still, I 'm  not running out of beautiful places to take my photos... I just have to be a little bit more inventive every day.

 Dots, pearls, lace and stripes are inspiring me today.

Tiny balcony

Our tiny balcony where we rent is the set for today's photos. We frequently sit with my husband there after a hard day's work and we sip wine while talking  and planning .

                                                                

The piece of cloth you see is a sheet hanging from the clothes rack! But all in all makes a great decor and I somehow feel really glamorous in this outfit.

I love those big wooden shutters, too. They shout Meditteranean style decoration.

I used it as a backdrop to show you my accessories for today.

Dress as top

Do you remember how I wore my dress as a skirt a couple of posts ago? Well today I was inspired to wear my dress as a top.

With a limited wardrobe all kinds of tricks are allowed. I quite enjoy the process. The harder it gets to cook new combination, the harder I have to make my mind work for new ideas.

I have limited my new purchases to two new bags and I recycle and remix  all else.

 

 So get your tunics or short dresses out and start experimenting. You might end up with a nice new top as well!

Lace and pearls and...straw bag

Ι felt like wearing the lace top today and I needed a bit of coverage and pearles. I checked my wardrobe and there I found both.

Thr straw bag always calls for casual sandals.

Vintage rose

Full summer blaze and fabulous light to take some early morning photos. I'm so happy this year with helping in the office. I have found my place and I have become easy going with the customers.

                            Great hand sewn dress I thrifted a while ago. I love wearing it so much!

                        Floral pants and one of my mum's silk top, not perfect match but somehow they fit together. Actually I have memories of her wearing it when I was a teenager! it's in excellent condition!

                           I'm trying out a few new shades in make up! And I bought a new lipstick. It's called Vintage Rose. What a glorious name!

                                                                  

Red on Red

Red on red and a few yellow splashes is the dish for today. How I love all creative possibilities. In fact they are so many that many women get overwhelmed and they think they have nothing to wear!

                                  A bit silly face but you get an idea of the accessories!

My summer pants

I packed those pants along with my summer dresses but I had no desire to put then on ...until today.

 

                                                              

Shirt time again

Ιt cooled down greatly since yesterday and a bit of rain is expected, quite unusual for this time of the year. As for me, I grabbed the chance to year my favorite shirt which high temperatures kept me from wearing.

Thanks to your support and  friendly, positive comments I have managed to be regular at posting this year and I want to share my happiness with you.

How do you decide how often to post? Is there a pattern or a reason that determines the number of times you post?

                                                          

Fight with the wind

It starts giving on my nerves that I don't get new pieces to refuel my wardrobe but the beautiful landscape and the light of the sun makes up, so I have no right to complain.

 Not sure if they work together but I am unable to simply wear a dress anymore. I have to add a layer!
