Hemming... no way!

Today's  denim trousers are a massive example at how useless I am with hemming. I practicly destroyed this expensive ( 100euro)Levi's pair by hemming it myself  shorter than I should. But I wear it anyway because a. it's comfortable b.not everyone is style guru so the flaw goes generally unnoticed.
Outfit details * Levi's trousers * white top  FGL thrifted * lace top has proved so versatile, found on the beach 3summers ago* shoes Juliani studio    * beret zara a gift to my elder son*scarf bianco

I've got 2 strange questions today.
Have you ever had a diy disaster while refashioning a piece of cloth?
Have you ever found a piece of clothing on the beach?
Tell me, I'm not the only one who destroys her expensive clothes but finds new ones on the beach!

  2. I rarely hem my jeans - I'm not the best sew-er, and I just roll them if they're too long. Yours look great. xo

    1. Why don't you give sewing a go? I'm sure you would love vintage sewing !

  3. You look so alive! Your outfit is very cute and you are radiating joy. I usually don't need to hem jeans as I am tall, but I am sure I've had a few diy disasters, though I can't think of an example at the moment. I can't say I have ever found clothes at the beach. If I saw some I would be worried there was a dead body attached.

  4. Your hems look fine! I can't hem unless with wundaweb (looks a little like a spider web ribbon you iron it and it sticks) even then it's hit and miss! I destroyed a dress last year, I can't remember what I was trying to do with it, hopefully I will find something on the beach one day x x x

    1. I didn't know such a think existed. It seems many are useless at hemming! I'lltry it.

  5. You look as if you are having so much fun in this photo and the jeans look great on you. I have not found anything at the beach before, but am a bit like Shawna, I would be afraid to take it if I did.

  6. Just wear them with lower heels.
I can't believe you paid 100 Euros for those. That is a lot of money!
