Orange has never been a favorite color of mine and that's about everything I have in orange. A skirt, a bag and a necklace and none of them is totally orange, anyway!
I thought I might cook something interesting with what I have in orange. In my head what I have in orange had a 50s vibe and I tried to capture it with the tight tshirt and the belted waist.
The skirt is polyester and thrifted last week and I like how it hits my knee just in the right place.
I might go more orange in the future but for now it's just fine I gave it a try. And felt great with it the whole day!
This is a really cute outfit and very flattering to your figure. I use to loathe orange and tuquoise and now I find myself liking them. For most colours it depends very much one what they are combined with, what the fabric is and the shade of the particular colour. With orange I tend to like a rusty orange or a soft pastel orange like an orange creamsicle. Very pretty, Angie!
ReplyDeleteI don't love orange either, but I do really like this skirt and bag!
ReplyDeleteThe orange and pale blue is an amazing combination! it's a gorgeous outfit, I have just realised too, we are nail polish twins! I'm wearing a very similar colour, I don't have the funky polka dots though, your dots look so cute! x x x
ReplyDeleteI seem to be attracted to orange lately. Peach is very flattering to the skin, and I think orange(at least a gentle one) is similar. You look great in your lovely combination, and with matching nails too! Amazing!
ReplyDeleteWOW! For someone who doesn't even like orange, you did pretty amazing!! I adore orange in all the possible hues. It's a color of inspiration, passion, sunshine and love of life to me. But I can understand what you are saying - I was that way with blue. Everyone seems to think blue is THE color. Well, not me until just recently. Love it in many shades now. We are changing. :) xxxx
ReplyDeleteLove orange on you ! like everything of this outfit and love the bag x.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore the beautiful orange print of that skirt !
ReplyDeleteI would wear it with a crisp white button down shirt and heels.
