Finito Outfit #30#


My last outfit was styled around this pretty obi belt. It's an obi belt I easily made myself! I thought of it myself but I'm sure others must have thought of it as well. It's super easy!
I bought two ties very cheap although made of pure silk .
The evidence
Then I put one end over the other to make one piece

And I stich (machine or hand stich)  as shown. I'm sure you get the picture.It's not brain surgery .
So how about making your own in any combination possible and let  me know. As for me ...no more challenges for the moment!!!

    It must feel so good to be done. I can't believe the next 30 for 30 challenge is starting in less than 2 weeks. I just finished the last one mid-December! I'm stressed by the mere thought of it.

    Thanks to Steph and Terri I found this tutorial and have made a billion of these belts (someone gifted me a bag of ties) which I've been wearing and my readers seem to really love. Thanks for posting this tutorial- it's been a lifesaver. ^_^
