This is a very simple outfit I wore in a very complicated day . The more I blog , the more I start seeing patterns in the way I dress. Like in the summer time that life is more simple I love to wear more visible clothes , weird combinations ,colors and tend to experiment more . On the contrary when the busy season starts in September ( I teach for a living ) I love to go as simple as possible in my clothes.
Have you noticed your style changing according to season, too ?
Today's outfit was inspired by this photo and was made more age appropriate but I hope it captures the look .
skirt : zara
shirt :chinese market
shoes : elite shoes ,suede carefully cleaned recently
This is truly divine. The simplicity and the lines are so chic! You seem to be developing quite a number of beautiful ensembles the past few months--I think I should take a page from your book and cast around for models and muses.
ReplyDeleteSometimes simple is the best way to go and this looks great! I would love a look like this for running errands or going to lunch or a movie. My winter clothes are by far my most complicated looks, but I like it that way!!
ReplyDeleteAngie, you captured the look in that photo perfectly. It is simple, yet so stylish - all it needs is your new DIY bag!
ReplyDeleteI love this look. I love the simplicity of it even though I don't often do simplicity.
ReplyDeleteI think that in summer my clothes also tend to be brighter, but also to be looser. I can't stand to wear fitted clothes in the summer. Otherwise I think my style remains much the same (in that it's all over the place) - but I'll have to take a closer look.
Love this! Simple and classic!
ReplyDeleteSimple and perfect (Olivia Palermo has a knack for that and so do you).
ReplyDeleteAngie--I love this outfit. I know that I have teaching appropriate outfits...and they often aren't the ones I feature on my blog. The less fuss to a teaching outfit, the better. It is probably why I don't wear much jewelry either.
ReplyDeleteAngie, this is just so simply elegant! I know what you mean....when things get hectic, I trust my uniform! This is PERFECTION! Hugs! ~Serene
ReplyDeleteWhat a marvelous inspired by look - I think we are on the same journey: trying to make out wardrobe work.
