The Italian job Outfit # 7

This was a totally unexpected outfit. It wasn't planned or thought over like the rest of my outfits. I simply wanted to wear black today but don't look like a widow.
To my utter disapointment my husband said I looked like a gondolla boy feeling cold! I made a serious attempt to prove him wrong and I  loaded myself  with accessories.
Before I go out the door he said I looked classy!!! Men are so unpredictable!!!
Do the men in your life approve of your stylistic choices? Do they have a good sense of style that has saved your butt occassionally?Do they notice of the things you bring back  home?

P.S Yesterday wasn't my lucky day but it was an easygoing, productive, happy day I got to spend with the people I love! Isn't that luck after all!!!

  1. my man usually approves, his general attitude is "if you like it and feel good in it, then it works."
he's also great with reality checks, as in: harem pants don't flatter anyone. period. :-)

glad your day went well yesterday.

  2. I am loving all your 30 for 30 outfits!

I think my hubs appreciates that I like to think about what I wear and try to look stylish, although sometimes he can get annoyed when he has to take the photos :)

  3. I instantly loved your combo, especially the genius pop of aqua in that ring! It is always very interesting to get hubbies thoughts on outfits (sometimes mine is right but I still ignore him if I like it), I didn't see the gondolla boy thing until you said it, but then I saw it! I think the accessories you added changed it up perfectly.

  4. ha ha my husband never approves of what I'm wearing. He always just says, why can't you just wear a t-shirt, you look good in t-shirts. There's just now way to win, I however think you look great!

  6. This striped top is so cute. A lot of bloggers featured a striped shirt of some kind and I feel like I didn't get the memo!

  7. I agree with your husband--this IS classy, and apparently it was the accessories that made all the difference.

    My favorite so far.

  10. Super cute. I have a similar dress. I might have to try a look like this.

My husband always says he's happy if I'm happy. He doesn't necessarily have good fashion sence, but he seems to have a good feel for what looks flattering on me and there have been times when he has mentioned if something doesn't. He is almost always right when it comes to figure flattering items.

  15. Pshaa-- my husband is useless when it comes to fashion. Except that he said he HATES high waisted belts on women.

    See. Useless.

My mouth literally dropped open when I saw this outfit. Don't you just love it when outfits just happen?
