No comments? Outfit #11#

I thought that the best part of the challenge would be the remix of clothing itself. But I was wrong! It's the comments! Almost like a random act of kindness your sweet, encouraging ,smart comments give me motivation .
And what's more, this exchange of comments builds up and some form of closeness happens with some of the bloggers! And this along with my family and friends makes everyday life a lot more rich and fun!!!
How do you feel about the comments you get? Do you feel a kind of connection with the bloggers you comment more or get the more comments from?

  1. YES! I definitely feel like I know some bloggers better because of our comment exchanges!

  2. Absolutely! Ultimately, we are all seeking to belong and connect. Finding avenues for that connection, especially via this type of community, is rewarding. I like the addition of internet kinship as a supplement to the face-to-face friendships. What a great time to be alive!

Love the bracelet and belt together, by the way:)

  3. This is a great combo. Very cool to find a scarf in the trendy leopard print but with that burgundy color to it too, and to be able to match it to your tights! I also love the big brown belt against the black dress, it's all great together.
I definitely agree with what you said about commenters!

  6. Great turkey day look and when you get too full, just remove the belt for a chic sheath dress! Genius.

  7. yes, I am thrilled to get comments and read what others have to say. I'm defintely "closer" to those who follow and regularly leave comments.

I love this sleek look on you, very elegant and cool at the same time.

  8. I am definitely thankful for the comments/community part of this challenge, too!! I had no idea I would find so many great new blogs/blog friends thanks to joining the 30-for-30. Just love it!

  11. I'm definitely thankful for the connections I've made through this challenge and through styleblogging in general -- I feel like I've "gotten to know" at least bits of people's lives with whom I share an interest, and have been inspired to be more creative and more thorough because of their input and because I know someone's out there paying attention.

I love this outfit, and that you're rocking more of the colored tights these days. Well done!

  12. Ah, that bracelet! Exquisite!

I have been blown away by the kindness and generosity of the women commenting on my blog (you included!). I wasn't expecting that at all. I thought about editing my blog content for the 30, just focusing on outfits, not being as personal, etc, but I'm so glad I chose to be true to myself...the reward of seeing people respond and want to genuinely connect and interact on a personal level has been so big!
