Stripes n' Flowers Outfit #12#
Today I simply wanted to wear stripes and I wanted to wear florals and I happened to have both. So, I threw them together and kept the rest simple!
That was a spontaneous outfit, all the rest until now I had somehow planned ahead.
There is a little something I've been meaning to ask you , do you always write what you wear ,you know the name of the brand...etc.Why you do that? And if you don't why not!I'm in two minds.

Awww this is such a pretty look. The stripes and florals are so great.
ReplyDeleteI like all these shades of red and pink. I always write the brands to give credit to the manufacturers (much like a bibliography on a published essay), but also in case the readers are curious and wish to purchase something similar for themselves.
ReplyDeleteReally like your "throw together" look.
ReplyDeleteI write what, where and how much because people asked me to.
I always love stripes with florals!
ReplyDeleteI always write my items out...it saves a person asking me where I got the item if they're interested in it...and that way if I'm wearing presents from my friends who have blogs I can link it back to them...or link things to my Etsy shop...or link things to other small business owners shop if it's something from them..
I truly like this scarf with the stripes. I don't always explain the brand of the item, because...ALL of my wardrobe comes from thrift stores. The brand might matter, but I have no clue what year an item might have come out.
ReplyDeleteso pretty and fresh! i esp. love it with the boots.
ReplyDeletei always put the source of an item - i don't really know why. lots of my stuff is so old, or i made it myself. but i do like it when i can link to an etsy shop with some of my jewelry.
i do know that i am interested in how people 'put together' their wardrobes, so i figure i may as well satisfy that curiosity for others. good question!!!! steph
you should do spontaneous more often. love this look on you, one of my favorites so far.
ReplyDeleteI started to write it because people asked where I got things. What are you leaning towards?
The skirt and this shirt go so well together!

Hi-I just found ur blog-I love it. I love the florals w/the stripes. It takes a very good eye to mix patterns. btw: I write where I got it under b/c people always ask me where I got certain things and it's already on the bottom. Plus, if I like something I might go on their site, look for it and buy it.
ReplyDeleteAlso-I didn't know where the comments were b/c they were different so I just clicked on it all! lol.
You now have a new follower! If you get a chance stop by & say hi!

This is adorable! The colors are so pretty and stripes and florals look so fresh....I was inspired to copy you today, but...I honestly can't think of anything floral I own! Weird! One more thing to add to the list, hm?
ReplyDeleteLike many others, sometimes listing the origins of my items seems silly, since most are thrifted or purchased so long ago there's no way people can get them now. But I always find it interesting to know where others find their clothes, what labels they favor and why, and how they combine old with new, so I figured I'd do the same.
Gorgeous. Love the dusty rose color.
