Shirt-Pants combo

The complition of Project 333 and the change of season have left me somewhat un decisive on what to wear and the direction of my style. I know it's not gonna be experimenting with paterns and colors any more or pile up on accessories. I can feel the new direction coming, I have a need for a change, however I don't know how it will manifest, yet. So, I keep on posting everyday and I'm sure my new style will emerge when the time is right. I the main time let's have fun with today's outfit.

Like I said , same idea, shirt plus elastic pants like yesterday, only different colors. The pants are new from Zara and the shirt is thrifted, exellent quality and a favourite.

Just take a closer look of shoes, bag and short boots.

I'm linking again to my favorite Visible Monday. Come join me and all beautiful ladies out there!

  3. angie! it took me a while to get used to your new blogging schedule :-)
i´m glad that you feel more comfortable and relaxed after you completed the project 333! i know for myself that i get nervous and un-concentrated when i amass to much stuff - so cleaning the decks is really a relieve!
your looks: still a bit whimsy sometimes - while doing "ladylike" most of the time :-) my conclusion as a pro: 1)you need a very personal style, usual department store chic is to boring (for you) 2)you really want quality and things with history/a meaning 3)i think clean lines like in your summer dresses are the way to go, clothing should be not to clingy to look classy. add the "punk" with unusual color or pattern combos. to hard contrast between top and bottom should be broken up with a third item......
"punk" means not black leather and studs or torn clothes - it means to wear things with irony. i.e. a very serious skirt suit with a over the board frilly blouse, fishnets and then sneakers and a sports bag - or - black dress, black tights, black jacket etc. and then pale pink shoes and an orange lippy - or - a slightly frumpy tartan midi skirt with a flowery granny blouse and cool boots and a grown up bag.....
ok. thats a lot and i better stop here!
tons of hugs to beautiful crete an its most stylish woman!!! xxxxxx

  4. I love the flower detail on the bag and I see a sleeker style yet still very Angie. Everything looks right, it looks like you and you look happy in it. I am going through something similar though I have not formally done any project 333. I spent some time playing with clothing, accessories, styles and colour, I learned things about myself, and now I am settling into a space that feels right. I want quality, not a lot of clothing, I want comfort and I have found I am not comfortable wearing accessories I may like in theory. I gravitate towards taupes, greys and blues and natural fibres. I love hats and scarves and I have more difficulty looking stylish in summer than in colder weather because when the weather is warm I don't want the accessories and definitely not hats and scarves. I am neither afraid of standing out nor of blending in. I feel that you and I could sit down with a nice bottle of wine and have a really good chat about this. We could do it without the wine too but I like to add wine to the fantasy. We are the same age. We seem to be on a similar journey. We are both teachers and mothers. I think we would talk for hours. xoxoxo

    1. I think we could talk for hours without wine and for days with wine! Ha,Ha! That would be great! I also want to experiment more in winter and less in summer time. I think hats and scarves look good on you and anything with creative, artistic vibe. Thanks for taking the time to comment in such a deep way to all my posts! I so appreciate it!

Its incredible how much we get to learn about ourselves through how we dress, the choices we make and blogging. I think you are in the right path.
